Newport Deanery

WELCOME

welcome

We are rural and town churches in North Buckinghamshire with history dating back to the Domesday book, evidence of the English Civil war, the slave trade, Guy Fawkes, and ENIGMA codebreaking beyond Bletchley Park; but also, and most importantly great Christian conversions (John Newton) and great hymnology (William Cowper).

Of course, at the heart of the deanery is Jesus Christ and a personal choice, a morality, lifestyle and hope that shines in a dark world.

So much is going on in the 22 churches, and that can be found herehere. Some churches have to be closed for safety and security reasons, but if you wish to visit, do contact the incumbent.

We have Safeguarding officers in each church, so you are welcome to come to a wonderful array of buildings, populated by faithful, rational individuals who have discovered the joy of God in their lives.
